The German holiday charter airline Hapag-Lloyd acquired a total of fifteen Airbus A310aircraft and four of these are still in active service with the airline. In 1988 Hapag-Lloyd received four A310-200s. Later it put to service ten A310-300s and one more -200 aircraft.

The airline was formed in 1972 by the German shipping group Hapag-Lloyd. In 1997 the airline became part of the TUI travel organisation and the aircraft started wearing HapagFly titles in 2005.

The photograph above shows an Hapag-Lloyd Airbus A310 in white non-standard TUI-colours approaching Frankfurt Airport. On the small picture below an A310 in the light blue standard colour scheme is taxiing at Düsseldorf Airport.
