Airbus A300-600R - Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways is a young airline, founded in 1993. The airline, based at Doha in the Emirate of Qatar, has the intention to grow fast into a big world-wide operating hub-carrier. The airline soon added Airbus A300 airliners to its fleet and acquired a total of ten. The A300s were soon accompanied by later Airbus types like the A330 and the A340.
Some A300s were later converted to freighters, like the one on the picture above, which is departing from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The picture below shows a passenger A300 in the old colour scheme approaching London Heathrow
