Airbus A310 - Royal Jordanian
Royal Jordanian Airlines is the national airline of Jordan. The airline started flying in 1963 as Alia but was later renamed Royal Jordanian Airlines. Part of the fleet is a number of Airbus A310 aircraft of which the first one was delivered in 1987. The airline introduced both the A310-200 and the A310-300 in its fleet, but only a small number of A310-300s is left. Two of these aircraft are configured as cargo-aircraft.
The photograph is taken while a Royal Jordanian A310-300 is approaching London Heathrow Airport during an early evening flight.
