Airbus A310 - Aeroflot
Because of the bad economics of Sovjet aircraft types, Aeroflot started operating Western types during the 1990s. The first type that Aeroflot acquired was the Airbus A310-300. The Airbuses were mostly operated on international services to Western countries. The first A310s arrived in the Aeroflot fleet in 1992 and the airline operated a total of fourteen.
During the first years the aircraft showed a remarkable new colour scheme (photo below), but later the standard Aeroflot livery was applied on the aircraft (large picture). Both photographs are taken at London Heathrow.
