Japan Air System (formerly Toa Domestic Airlines) acquired a total of 39 Airbus A300 aircraft since 1988, including the B2, B4 and 600R. In 2004 JAS was taken over by Japan Airlines.

The photograph, taken at Tokyo's domestic airport Haneda, shows an A300-600R in the JAS colour scheme and a repainted aircraft in full JAL livery.
